Does your company ship internationally? McIntosh Box & Pallet Co., Inc. is fully certified to heat treat and stamp your new and recycled wood packaging in accordance with ISPM-15: Regulation of Wood Packaging Material in International Trade. ISPM-15 was established under the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) in order to reduce the risk of introducing foreign plant pests into a new area. Over 70 countries have adopted ISPM-15 in order to harmonize international trade.
McIntosh owns and operates 3 heat treatment kilns – in addition to having relationships with third-party service providers – in order to cost-effectively heat treat wood packaging materials.
